Liverpool ‘set asking price’ for Diaz after ‘immediately rejecting’ £58.6m Bayern bid

Liverpool Name Their Price for Diaz After Laughing Off Bayern’s Pathetic Bid

Bayern Munich, in a display of either arrogance or ignorance, thought they could snatch Luis Diaz from Liverpool with a measly £58.6m offer. Liverpool, not being a charity, immediately rejected this laughable bid. Bayern, a club that should know better, now have the audacity to act surprised at Liverpool’s actual asking price.

Diaz, a player who’s been one of the few bright sparks in a Liverpool side that’s been inconsistent at best, is not going to be sold for peanuts. Bayern’s opening offer was an insult, plain and simple. If they think they can lowball Liverpool for a player of Diaz’s quality, they’re living in a fantasy world.

Liverpool have set a price that reflects Diaz’s true value, and rightly so. The club isn’t in the business of giving away their top talent for a cut-rate fee. Bayern need to wake up and realize that if they want to compete at the top level, they need to pay top dollar.

Diaz has been putting in the hard yards, unlike some of his teammates who seem to think they can coast through games. He’s a player who actually shows up, week in and week out, and Liverpool aren’t going to let him go without a fight.

Bayern, if they’re serious, need to come back with a bid that actually respects the player and the club. Otherwise, they’re just wasting everyone’s time. Liverpool have made it clear: pay up or shut up.

In the end, it’s simple. If Bayern want Diaz, they need to stop messing around and put their money where their mouth is. Otherwise, they can keep dreaming. Liverpool aren’t going to be bullied into selling one of their best players for a bargain. It’s time for Bayern to step up or step aside.
